Mike's Bio
My parents (Francis and Barbara Pierron of Saukville,
WI USA) always encouraged our family to Dream.
As the second oldest of four, (Michele, Robert and
Richard), I've never stopped Dreaming Big!
Professional baseballs' loss (after a failed tryout
with the Kansas City Royals in 1981 at 18), was
motivational speaking's gain.
- First person to bat over .400 as a "switch-hitter."
(Batted both right and left-handed) at Grafton High
School senior year. All-county and All-conference in
both baseball and basketball.
- VFW (Veterans of Foreign Wars)scholarship award
winner. My father fought in Korea in the 1950's.
- Kohler Co. sales achievement award winner in both
1987 and 1988. www.kohler.com.
- Founded Dream Big! in 1988 and began speaking as a
"hobby." (Twice tried and failed as a career since
then, but third times' a charm!)
- Traveled at twice-the-speed-of-sound on the
Concorde from New York to London in 1996.
- Snorkeled at and helicoptered over the Great
Barrier Reef in Australia.(1997)
- Spoke with Jack Kemp in Chicago, he was the opening
speaker, yours truly the keynote.
- Four-time triathlete and the 1998 Natural Masters
runner-up in bodybuilding.
- The first on-line marketing consulting firm working
only with firms that Dream Big! in the world. (2001)
- Married college sweetheart, Linda, (CFO of Dream
Big!) and have two wonderful children, Joey "creative
director" and Jennifer "artistic director."
